Centennial Campaign

OUR CENTENNIAL PROMISE

WE ARE COMMITTED TO AT LEAST ANOTHER CENTURY OF PROMOTING AND SHARING OUR VALUES OF WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT, LEADERSHIP, COMMUNITY SERVICE, TRAINING, COLLABORATION, AND DIVERSITY.

Since being admitted to the Association of Junior Leagues International in 1926, JLLA has touched many organizations in areas including foster youth, food insecurity, children’s health, mental health, housing, education, literacy, public health crises, human trafficking, and domestic violence.

This important work has garnered us dedicated community and corporate partners and loyal supporters all over Los Angeles. Our Centennial celebration (June 2025 – May 2026) is a significant milestone in our history and unique opportunity to build upon our already strong reputation and community reach.

HELP US BUILD OUR NEXT CENTURY OF IMPACT

Contributions to our Legacy Campaign will result in a ripple effect of positive change in our communities led by the power of women. It is an opportunity to celebrate the generations of women leaders before us that paved the way for our communities to thrive. More than that, it is an opportunity to create a stepping stone for the next generation of women leaders who will find themselves encountering unique community challenges, inspired to be a part of positive change, and finding personal growth through the process.

Join us on this journey as we build our next century of impact.

OUR CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION HAS THREE INTERCONNECTED PRIORITIES

Community Improvement Project
COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

Through an innovative partnership with the LA Department of Recreation and Parks, JLLA is renovating and renewing park spaces across the city, reviving important spaces where communities can gather and JLLA can provide programming opportunities. This singular centennial community partnership project is one of the largest community partners in JLLA history, setting the standard for the next 100 years of community empowerment and improvement.

In January 2026, we proudly celebrated the opening of the new Dance & Movement Studio at Green Meadows, a Centennial project years in the making and a powerful reflection of what the Junior League of Los Angeles can accomplish together. Sustainability
SUSTAINABILITY

Seed an endowment that will sustain the long-term financial health of JLLA and enable us to be innovative in our approaches to programming, thereby multiplying our community impact. Funding will leverage planned gifts – creating opportunities for our most loyal supporters to entwine their legacies with JLLA’s.

Training
TRAINING

Commit to the continued philanthropic education of our members through the creation of a special series of trainings in our Centennial year. These funds will provide much-needed support to bring high-level professionals working in diverse fields while offering the opportunity for our members to become more equipped to work with the LA Community.
